AIMS FOR 2017
Our aims for 2017 continue to be unchanged since the start of the sports association. These are as follows::
The association has fully or partially achieved all of those aims. We have supported the setting up of a number of new clubs including the massively successful Hethersett Velo Cycling Club and also Hethersett Croquet Club and a new petanque terrain on the Memorial Playing Field.
Financially thanks to continued support from South Norfolk Council and our two district councillors, Leslie Dale and David Bills, we have been able to financially support a number of groups. Many of our clubs such as the Queen's Road Badminton Club, Hethersett Hawks Cycle Speedway Club, Hethersett Social Running Club, Hethersett Memorial Playing Field Bowls Club and Hethersett Croquest Club have as many female players as male.
There is still much to achieve. In 2017 we will continue to fully support efforts to bring an all weather facility to Hethersett, continue to support efforts to improve the pavilion on the Memorial Playing Field (we gained planning permission for this in 2013). We will also be looking to set-up other clubs.
We will continue to lobby for improved cycle paths from Little Melton to Hethersett and from Hethersett to Wymondham.

AIMS FOR 2017
Our aims for 2017 continue to be unchanged since the start of the sports association. These are as follows::
- To support improved sport and fitness facilities in Hethersett and the Meltons
- To encourage more people to take active exercise and encourage walking and cycling as an alternative to vehicle travel.
- To encourage more women and girls to take an active part in sport
The association has fully or partially achieved all of those aims. We have supported the setting up of a number of new clubs including the massively successful Hethersett Velo Cycling Club and also Hethersett Croquet Club and a new petanque terrain on the Memorial Playing Field.

We will continue to lobby for improved cycle paths from Little Melton to Hethersett and from Hethersett to Wymondham.
We will also continue to
- Lobby politicians and other groups to continue supporting sport and fitness
- Act as a pressure group to improve awareness of sport
- Support other groups in Hethersett and the Meltons sharing similar ideals
- Work with Active Norfolk to help promote sport and fitness
